Security
RepoClip is designed to keep your code, credentials, and videos safe. Here's how we protect your data.
Your code is never stored
RepoClip reads your repository only during video generation. Source code is processed in memory and discarded immediately after analysis. We never write your code to disk or any database.
GitHub credentials are encrypted
If you connect your GitHub account to access private repositories, your OAuth token is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. The token is only decrypted momentarily when fetching your code.
Videos are private by default
Your generated videos are only accessible to you. Nobody else can view or download your videos unless you explicitly share the link.
Infrastructure security
RepoClip runs on Vercel and Supabase with TLS encryption for all data in transit. Payments are processed securely through Lemon Squeezy — we never handle your credit card information directly.
